Climate is changing, and so is the way we do business. At The Green Accountants, sustainability shapes how we work, make decisions and measure our impact. From our internal operations, to the way we work with clients, partners and the wider community.

Our Business Sustainability

We focus on building a responsible, resilient business by improving how we work, reducing our environmental impact, and supporting long-term, sustainable growth.

Our Client Sustainability

We meet with our clients throughout the year to understand their goals, provide ongoing support, and help them prepare for climate change regulations and future challenges.

Our Community Sustainability

Our team takes part in litter-picking walks three times a year, giving back to the local community and helping care for our shared environment.

Current Community Action

As part of our wider sustainability and community commitment, we are currently raising money for Freedom4Girls and their Kenya project through a beach clean taking place on 1 May.

This is one of the ways we aim to turn our values into action, supporting both environmental responsibility and meaningful community impact.

Our 2023–2024 Impact Report captures the baseline year of our joint ESG performance and the foundations of our approach to practical, accountant-first climate action. It sets out our starting position across emissions, training, and community impact, and provides the benchmark used to track progress in the 2024–2025 report.

Our 2024–2025 Impact Report shares the joint progress of Sustainability Suite and The Green Accountants, including total emissions and key social and governance outcomes. Highlights include estimated annual savings of 185.9 tCO₂e – roughly equivalent to ~740,000 miles driven.
